Mexico Mule and Couse Deer
Coues Deer can be found in the mountain base at the desert or up on the highest mountain points. Covered with oak and mesquite, mixed with all types of cactus and brush, the magnificent mountains of the Sierra Madre in the Sonora State, with elevations up to 7500 feet, provides the perfect environment for an abundance of the popular coues deer. Coues deer are very challenging. They have unbelievable eyes, hearing, and sense of smell.
The magnificent desert mule deer grow to enormous size and make memorable hunting experiences. To hunt a mule deer is to pursue one of the most prestigious trophies worldwide. This deer’s antlers reach an opening of 35″, and some are known to weigh over 200 pounds.
These hunts are conducted on private ranches in the Sonora Desert, Chihuahua and Sierra Madre Mountains in Mexico. We represent several outfitters with an excellent success rate of trophy mule and couse deer (80-95%). Hunting methods include spot and stalk, ground and tower stands. Hunts are typically 4-6 full days of hunting with accommodations ranging from ranch house to drop camps.
All hunts are 1×1 (unless otherwise requested). The guides are highly qualified and very familiar with their hunting areas. Hunts are all inclusive of meals, beverages, guides and ground transportation. Non-resident hunting licenses and gun permits (approx $500 USD) and taxes are not included.

Chihuahua Ranch
Couse Deer (4 days 1×1 guided hunt) $4,500
Six out of the top fifteen ranking Coues Whitetail Deer came out of Chihuahua. Eighty percent of the deer taken on this ranch qualified for SCI record book of trophy animals.
Sonora Ranch
Couse Deer (10 day package with 8 days 1×1 guided hunt) $4,500
Mule Deer (10 day package with 8 days 1×1 guided hunt) $8,000
Mule & Couse Deer combo (10 days with 8 days 1×1 guided hunt) $11,350
This hunt occurs in the Sonora Mountains. Pick up point is Hermosillo airport. The price includes hunting fees, licenses and tags, 1×1 guides, meals and ground transportation. An excellent value for the trophy deer hunter.
Sonora Desert & Baja California Sur
Sonora Couse Deer – $6,500 includes licenses, permits and trophy fees
Sonora Mule Deer – $11,500 includes licenses, permits and trophy fees
Sonora Combo Mule & Couse Deer Hunt $17,000 includes licenses, permits and trophy fees.
Baja California Sur Mule Deer $8,500 includes licenses, permits and trophy fees.
All hunts are 8-day packages w/5 ½ days of 1×1-guided hunting except the Combo Hunt, which is a 14-day package w/5 ½ days of 1×1-guided hunting for each deer in two different areas. There will be a maximum of 4 hunters per camp to ensure quality hunt.
This outfitter has a success rate is 100 % with most trophies scoring 90 or better B&C points with a 100 B&C points being very possible. Every year they take 3 or 4 that make the all time B&C minimum of 110 points. They hunt on a 750,000-acre private ranch and take a maximum of 36 hunters per season for Mule Deer and 30 hunters per season for Coues Deer to ensure superior trophy quality hunts. Javelina and Gould’s Turkey in Sonora may be added to deer hunts for trophy fee and licenses. Please inquire.
